Concept completed a comprehensive strip-out and internal refurbishment of the Marine Management Organisation offices on Poole Quay. We worked in close coordination with ISS, RLB, and site staff to plan and deliver the programme to a defined timescale, ensuring a smooth handover. We prioritised safety and compliance throughout the project by taking on an asbestos R&D survey, clear signage, and fire protection measures.
On-site, the services were fully isolated and completed a full strip-out of the existing interiors. We then installed new fire doors, upgraded building services, and laid new flooring to improve performance and appearance. We completed the decoration and installed a new kitchen to support daily use and staff comfort. We finished the work with full testing and commissioning, handing over a ready-to-use office.

The project required careful planning within an occupied area and a prominent waterfront location. We addressed this through early engagement with all parties and a clear sequence of works that reduced risk and avoided delays.
Our approach focused on control and clarity. Defined access routes, clear safety measures, and planned service isolations supported efficient delivery. Regular communication with the client team ensured quick decisions and steady progress, resulting in a timely completion and smooth handover.
Innovations, challenges, solutions
Use of early coordination and clear sequencing to manage risk and maintain programme certainty.
