Refurbishment works in this busy hotel which is also a spa included redecoration of guest bedrooms, bathroom re-fits, plastering and electrical upgrades. The safety of both our client’s staff and their guests were our utmost priority and as such we took extra steps to protect guest access routes to their rooms. During the project, we utilised 20 of our directly-employed operatives including two apprentices.

We recognised that unnecessary noise could disrupt guests but some noisy work was unavoidable. Collaborating with the hotel, we created a timed plan to minimise disruption, scheduling work for the afternoons when guests were more likely to be enjoying the spa facilities rather than being in their rooms.
