Volunteering

Our volunteering initiative empowers every team member at Concept to dedicate one working day annually to volunteer with an organisation they choose. We’re dedicated to creating meaningful change within our communities and establishing a lasting legacy as an organisation committed to providing essential resources that generate genuine, positive outcomes.

Fundraising

Demelza provides compassionate care for children living with serious or life-limiting illnesses. Their comprehensive support extends to entire families from initial diagnosis onwards, helping create cherished moments and lasting memories. Our partnership with this children’s hospice spans over 22 years, supported through contributions from the Axis Foundation alongside our team’s direct volunteering and fundraising activities. This year alone, our employees dedicated 175 hours supporting this vital charity.

The Axis Foundation

As the philanthropic division of Axis CLC group, the Axis Foundation delivers support and creates opportunities for individuals, initiatives and causes that generate meaningful, enduring impact across the communities we serve. In 2022, we reached a milestone of £2 million in contributions to more than 270 small-scale, local and high impact causes throughout 14 years of charitable giving. By 2025, we surpassed the £3 million threshold, and our Founder John Hayes was honoured with an MBE recognising his charitable contributions.

Work Inspiration

Our work inspiration programme delivers hands-on and engaging experiences of professional environments through placement opportunities, career presentations, interactive workshops, mentoring relationships and apprenticeship pathways. We’ve established partnerships with schools, colleges and universities nationwide, connecting with young people and highlighting our sector as an exceptional career choice.

Community Funds

Through our social value pledges, we drive transformative change in local communities. Our approach focuses not solely on delivering high-impact projects, but on collaborating closely with clients to identify what holds genuine value for their residents and the broader community they serve.
