Concept Celebrates Official Opening of Refurbished Junior Ranks Mess at Buckley Barracks

Concept is pleased to announce the official opening of the newly refurbished Junior Ranks Mess at Buckley Barracks. The milestone was celebrated on Monday with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the Commanding Officer of Buckley Barracks, marking the successful handover of the modernised facility.

Enhancing Operational Infrastructure

Working in close partnership with VIVO Defence Services, Concept undertook a comprehensive five-month refurbishment program to modernise the dining and support areas. The project focused on enhancing functionality, operational efficiency, and the overall day-to-day experience for defence personnel.

The extensive scope of works included a full internal strip-out followed by the installation of modern ceilings, flooring, joinery, and updated finishes. In addition, critical upgrades were made to lighting, power distribution, and mechanical and electrical systems to support the new layout and long-term operational demands.
