Concept Appointed to Deliver Junior Ranks Mess Refurbishment at RAF Odiham
Concept has been appointed to deliver a refurbishment of the Junior Ranks Mess at RAF Odiham, working alongside Vinci as part of a programme commissioned by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation on behalf of the Ministry of Defence.
The 16-week project focuses on the dining hall and chill-out space, improving facilities for service personnel and their families. The M&E element is valued at £180K, forming part of an overall programme worth approximately £900K.
Scope of Works
- New smart lighting scheme with daylight dimming controls and colour-changing LED capability for events and functions
- Private dining booths with bench seating, tables, integrated TV screens, and power and data supplies
- New LV distribution boards and small power installation for sockets and data
- Dedicated power and data for large-format TV screens
- New air conditioning system
- Modifications to the existing district heating low-temperature hot water system
