The Clock Tower at Kneller Hall did not always look so pristine. With the gold leaf on the clock face rapidly fading, the weather vane rusting and the cladding in a state of decay, the tower was in need of attention.

  • Client: PriDE
  • Construction Year: 2014
  • Location: London, United Kingdom
  • Duration: 10 Days
  • Sector: Ministry of Defence

As a listed building, every repair to the Clock Tower required a considered approach. The cladding needed to be repaired with an exact match of materials; the paintwork required the exact shades of blacks and whites; and the application of gold leaf on the weather vane and clock face was a highly skilled job, completed with meticulous attention to detail.

The end result is a superbly finished heritage building of which the MOD can be proud.
