The Embassy Nightclub was in a concerning state of disrepair. The main concern was the worsening condition of its two balconies, both of which had the potential to injure passing pedestrians should they weaken further.

Our solution was to immediately raise heras fencing on the pavement directly under the balconies to keep pedestrians away from the danger zone. The damaged masonry was then taken back to the substrate and stainless steel reinforcing bars inserted. A fosroc concrete repair system was used to repair the mortar and create a solid base from which to rebuild both balconies. To guarantee a high-quality, long-lasting finish, a plastic coating was applied to the balcony tops and the result is a sound safety measure which will endure and protect the security of the public.
